was ordained priest. After 30 years of pastoral life, died on September 10, 1305.

On his grave was erected a basilica where he continued to perform miracles.

In the fortieth year after his death, his incorrupt body was exposed to the faithful. During the exhibition's arms of the saint were removed by a lay brother who secretly broke the arms of the relic, and so began a series of extraordinary bloodshed that were witnessed and documented.

The sanctuary has no documentary evidence regarding the identity of the individual who amputated the arms of the saint, though legend has appropriated the report that a German monk, Theodore, was who did it tried to take as relics to their home country. However, it is known that blood flow signal was made and was causing capture. A century later, in recognition of the relics, found the bones of the saint, but the arms amputees were completely intact and soaked in blood. They were placed in beautiful silver boxes, each comprised of a forearm and hand.

His remains are preserved in the Basilica of San Nicolas Tolentino (Italy), and is worshiped in places like Adra (Almería), Tortuera (Guadalajara) or Cas Concos (Baleares).
